In the picturesque town of Idar-Oberstein is our Cafe-Restaurant"Zum alten Goten".
Just a few minutes from the famous Rock Church and the Castles away,
you will find a good restaurant in a cozy atmosphere.
The house was built in 1392 and it is the oldest half-timbered house in the Nahe Valley. On two floors, we are able to
accommodate about 100 guests. We are well prepared for your party or your trip to Idar-Oberstein.
We especially recommend the original "Idar-Oberstein spit". In summer, the 30 seats on our terrace invite you to stay,
perhaps in a piece of our special "Apfelstrudel".
